Materials and Care

All of our cabinets are made to be durable and beautiful for many years, but you can ensure that they stay in great condition for as long as possible by cleaning and caring for them properly. Here are our most popular cabinet materials and how to keep them clean and damage free.

Thermofoil Cabinets

Thermofoil cabinets are made by vacuum forming and heat-bonding PVC to a furniture-grade medium density fiberboard (MDF) core. MDF is an eco-friendly material that you can feel good about choosing. These cabinets have the look of real wood but are much easier to care for. They are highly durable and resistant to stains, water, steam, heat, and denting. Thermofoil is a great choice if you want a durable cabinet that looks great and is affordable.

Thermofused Laminate Cabinets (TFL)

Thermofused laminate cabinets (TFL) are made by heat bonding melamine to a furniture grade, eco-friendly particle board core and edged with matching 1mm banding.
